Honda berhasil mencatatkan prestasi di Eropa melalui model VRF1200F yang dinobatkan sebagai sepeda motor turing sport terbaik (best motorcycle sport tourer) 2010 oleh Motor Cycle News (MCN). Kuda besi juga masuk dalam 10 besar model sepeda motor terlaris sepanjang tahun lalu.

VRF1200F yang diluncurkan musim semi tahun lalu, langsung mendapat respon positif (penjualannya terus menanjak) karena desain yang elegan tapi tetap mencerminkan aura sport.

Motor ini dibekali teknologi baru berupa transmisi kopling ganda (dual clutch). Jadi, pengendara bisa memilih pakai yang standar (seperti motor sport umumnya dengan menarik tuas kopling dan gigi dipindahkan dengan pedal kopling) atau transmisi otomatis yang tersedia dua mode, yakni "D" yang hemat bahan bakar dan "S" buat sport. Untuk perpindahan dari sistem konvensional ke matik itu cukup dengan menekan tombol.

Marc Potter, Editor Motor Cycle News mengatakan, "VFR1200F menawarkan konsep berkendara baru dari Honda ke khalayak umum. Tombol transmisi kopling ganda mengubah cara kita berkendara, membuat seakan-akan memindah transmisi dengan kaki jadi ketinggalan zaman."

Steve Martindale, General Manager Honda Motorcycles Inggris seperti dikutip dari situs resmi Honda Inggris (19/1/2011) mengatakan, "Penghargaan buat Honda selalu diraih dengan pencapaian penjualan yang baik. "

Pemilihan pasangan, yang baru dikaruniai satu putra ini dirasa cocok oleh PT Astra Honda Motor (AHM) untuk mewakili kaum muda dan keluarga muda yang akan disasar oleh SPACY.

Skuter otomatis atau Skutik baru dari Honda ini diluncurkan hari ini, Rabu (4/5), di JIExpo, Kemayoran. BCL dan Ashraf tampil di panggung dengan mengendarai SPACY berkelir putih.

Honda SPACY 2011 merupakan skutik teranyar AHM dengan keunggulan pada ruang bagasinya (18 liter), yang mampu menenggelamkan sebuah helm full-face.

Spacy mengusung desain dinamis pada paras depan, dengan lampu utama di setang, dipadu lampu memanjang di bagian sayap depan.

Buritan terlihat modern dan futuristik. Sepeda motor yang diklaim sebagai produk global yang baru diproduksi di Cina dan Indonesia ini dibekali mesin berkapasitas 108 cc dengan tenaga 8,54 PS pada 8.000 rpm dan torsi 8 Nm pada 6.000 rpm.
